"Adult Day"

Taking "Adult Day"s is such a chore for me! I know interaction with my friends and clients is essential in my life, but being away from Charlotte Olivia for almost any length of time just feels strange! Luckily, she [and we] is blessed to have grandparents who adore her as much as her dad and I do. When She goes to spend the night with her Memo and Papa, I miss her, but I don't worry.

Today, I was able to not only knock out our remaining Christmas shopping, but I was able to have a moms day out. I spent time with my friend Rebecca. Becca and I spent time together almost daily during my pregnancy, and now Charlotte Olivia get over to visit when we can. We did the shopping had some lunch, some wine, and visited with friends until Troy met with me after work. It was nice to catch up with my friend. In the words of Stockard Channing to Patrick Swayze in To Wong Foo, " I think its important for a woman, to have lady friends."

Ive spent my night relaxing with Troy. We watched some corny SNL on netflix, trying to decide if it did or didn't jump the shark. I'm starting to believe SNL got so bad, it went past bad and back to good again. I digress. Ive reorganized my makeup kit, wrapped gifts, planned some new blog ideas, blogged, and indulged in sweet tea. Tomorrow, Ill wake up early and clean our place to perfect for my girl, to be dropped off around two. Its less than 24 hours away, and I know this is supposed to be my "break", but how could you resist this face?
